1. Controller

Demirpolat, Zeki Nafiz & Aslan, Soner (GbR)
Raadter Str. 149
45149 Essen, Germany
Email: info@ironleo-x.com

Represented by its partners Zeki Nafiz Demirpolat and Soner Aslan.

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to.

2. Overview

This website only provides information. We use no cookies, no analytics or tracking tools and no social media plugins, and we embed no third-party content. We process personal data only where this is technically necessary to run the website or when you contact us.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, on servers in Germany. When you open the website, your browser automatically sends information that the server stores in log files:

  • IP address, which STRATO partly replaces with a hash value when logging (pseudonymised)
  • date and time of access
  • page or file requested and amount of data transferred
  • previously visited page (referrer)
  • browser type and version, and operating system

This data is needed to deliver the website and to keep it stable and secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is running the website reliably and securely. The data is not combined with other sources. According to STRATO, the log files are deleted after six weeks at the latest. We have a data processing agreement with STRATO under Art. 28 GDPR.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.

5. Contact by email and the contact form

When you email us, we process the details you provide (in particular your name, email address, company if given, and the content of your message) to answer your enquiry.

When you use the contact form, your details (name, company if given, email address, area of interest and message) are sent encrypted to our web server at STRATO and forwarded from there to us by email. They are not stored on the web server itself.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or steps prior to entering into one, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your enquiry. We delete enquiries that do not lead to an engagement no later than twelve months after the last contact. Messages that we must keep as business correspondence are stored for the statutory period of six years (§ 147 of the German Fiscal Code, AO).

To prevent abuse, the form checks a field that is invisible to people and the time taken to send it; these values are not stored. We also limit the number of enquiries. For this, the web server creates a hash value from your IP address using a random key that is replaced every day. The hash value is no longer used after one hour and is deleted the next time the form is used; older keys are deleted as well, so the hash can no longer be traced back to the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is protecting the form and our inbox from abuse.

We use Google Workspace for our email. For customers in the European Economic Area the provider is Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland. Google processes the data on our behalf under the Google Workspace data processing terms (Art. 28 GDPR). A transfer to third countries, in particular the USA, cannot be ruled out. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which the European Commission has adopted an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Google has agreed to the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).

6. Saving the display mode (light and dark)

When you switch between light and dark mode, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so that the website can use it on your next visit. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us and is not used to recognise you. Storing it is strictly necessary for this function, which you explicitly request (§ 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG). You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

7. Fonts

All fonts are loaded from our own web server. No connection is made to third-party servers such as Google Fonts.

8. Your rights

Within the limits of the law, you have the right at any time to

  • access the data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • have data erased (Art. 17 GDPR) and its processing restricted (Art. 18 GDPR),
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).

Right to object: where we process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

For any of these, an email to info@ironleo-x.com is enough. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2-4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Obligation to provide data and automated decisions

You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without your contact details, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling.
